Dilek Balioğlu
Biography
Dilek Balioğlu is the founder of Balioğlu Law Firm, which has a long-standing experience in Turkish Commercial and Corporate Law and Capital Markets Law. She specializes in capital markets, corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, contracts and tax law.
Her career highlights include more than twenty years of experience at the Capital Markets Board, where she was actively involved in the regulation of Turkish capital markets within the Administrative Structure of the Republic of Türkiye, including the drafting of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362 and the establishment of the Borsa Istanbul Public Disclosure Platform.
She has also lectured on commercial law and capital markets at Başkent University and represented Türkiye in international organizations such as the Council of European Bar and Law Associations (CCBE). She completed the 18th International Symposium on Economic Crime at Jesus College, University of Cambridge.
Balioğlu continues to provide legal consultancy services to her clients with the strength and experience gained from her superior knowledge.
